Bath - 1 day

Roman BathsIf legend is to be believed, dating back further than Shakespeare's King Lear, this UNESCO World Heritage Sight is the most famous spa in the world. The city of Bath is home to arguably the best preserved Roman Baths outside Italy, Bath Abbey (the last great Medieval church to be built in England), fantastic Georgian architecture, antique shops, galleries and the most visited shopping destination in the south west.

On arrival our guide will show you all the famous sights including: Bath, Abbey, Bog Island, the Parade Gardens, the Assemby Rooms and Royal CrescentCostume museum, the Royal Circus, the Royal Crescent, Victoria Park, Queen Square and concluding at the Pump Rooms and Roman Baths (entrance included). After your visit to this fantastic historical Roman masterpiece, you will have time to explore the beautiful squares, cresents and terraces of this golden city yourself. Bath has a higher concentration of museums per head than London, so there will be something to suit everybody's taste. There are numerous places to take lunch from relatively inexpensive cafes & pubs through to world renowned restaurants. If the visit to the Roman Baths captured your imagination, you could take the waters at the brand new thermae spa, or if you like Rugby union, visit the REC, home to Bath Rugby club, one of the premier teams in England.
