Edinburgh is less than 5 hours away by high speed train from London. This tour gives you the chance to see Scotland's capital and even the Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness - all in a weekend. Day one:
We travel north to arrive in Scotland's capital, Edinburgh by 11.15 am. The normal journey time from London is just under 5 hours, which means you can have breakfast in England and Lunch in Scotland!

On arrival in Edinburgh we will take a guided tour of the city with our local Scottish guide before checking into our accommodation. 

You may wish to join us for some casual drinks close to your hotel in the evening - we promise you will enjoy our evenings just as much as the sightseeing! Coming away on a tour like this is also a great way of meeting people from all over the world.

Day Two:
If you are travelling on our tour into the Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness (tour B), prepare to see some amazing scenery. The landscape is rugged, wild and very different to other parts of Britain - it's simply breathtaking. The tour leaves from the hotel at 8am and arrives back at 7.30pm. Please note that we only have a limited number of places on this tour and you should inform us at the time of booking if you would like to join.

If you are taking our Edinburgh "Free & Easy" option (tour A), you will have the day free to explore Edinburgh independently. Your Edinburgh guide is full of knowledge on the city and will be happy to give you lots of information so you can make the most of the day. 

Day Three:
A full day to enjoy Edinburgh's city sites, before we take our train back to London at 5pm.
We also offer you the option of visiting Roslyn Chapel and Melrose Abbey (see Day 3 optional tour below)

Day 2  Optional Tour -  Full day tour to Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands

Your sightseeing, transfers and tour to the Scottish Highlands (if you are on tour B) is by a modern luxury coach.

Have seen the film Da Vinci Code as well as read the novel? Now, it is your opportunity to UNCOVER THE MYTHS & LEGENDS AROUND THE DA VINCI CODE, THE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR & THE BURIAL PLACE OF ROBERT THE BRUCE’S HEART

Departing at 9.30 from your accommodation,  your tour takes you south to the world famous Scott’s View, with stunning views over the Tweed Valley and the Eildon Hills. You will also get the opportunity to visit the original Wallace Monument.

From here you travel to Melrose with the opportunity to explore its great Border Abbey, founded by the Cistercians in the 12th Century. The Cistercian monks had very close connections with the Knights Templar and Melrose Abbey is the burial place of Robert the Bruce's heart, brought back from the crusades in Moorish Spain.

Following lunch in Melrose you will make your way to the stunning 15th century Rosslyn Chapel, immortalised in Dan Brown’s “Da Vinci Code” and you can find out more about the myths and legends surrounding the whereabouts of the “Holy Grail”, which was also demonstrated in the film, starred by Tom Hanks - Da Vinci Code. From here you return to Edinburgh train station to connect with your return train.

Children under 5 years of age are not able to participate in our day 3 excursion.

Family Run Guest House/Hotel Accommodation
All accommodation on this tour is based on staying in a centrally located traditional Scottish family run hotel/guest house in rooms with private shower, toilet, television and tea/coffee making facilities. During peak travel dates (April - August), accommodation options may vary, please call for more details.

For travellers who would like to get the most out of their budget, we offer shared accommodation in multi-bedded rooms, ranging from 4 to 8 people. If you select this option, you can avoid paying room supplements, regardless of how many people are travelling. All room shares are arranged on a male or female basis and we do not mix male and female in the same room. However if you are travelling with a group of friends or as a family, please contact us, as we can often allocate the correct size room for your party and keeping you in the same room.

旅程详解： 

第一天： 

早上5.45分在伦敦Kings Cross火车站集合（WH Smith 书店门口附近），6.15分火车出发。爱丁堡快车设施十分齐全，同时配备有餐车，您完全可以自己随身带些食品，也可以在餐车上购买。列车会带您在不列颠岛的东海岸往北前行，途经达勒姆（Durham），纽卡斯尔（Newcastle）和贝瑞克（Berwick-uopn-Tweed）- 此处也是 英格兰和苏格兰的边界，在从此往北，您将领略到著名欧洲北海的海岸景色。大约在上午11点10分左右，火车达到苏格兰首都爱丁堡市。在到达爱丁堡市后，在我们苏格兰当地导游的带领下，参观爱丁堡 - 世界人类文化遗产保护城市。

在我们当地英文导游为您讲解一些鲜为人知的故事后，回到旅店。此后便是您的自由时间来探寻爱丁堡市，也是个为家里人购买一些当地纪念品的好机会。苏格兰的羊毛制品很是出名，原因之一是因为苏格兰特有的格尼（Tartan）设计。还有就是举世闻名的苏格兰威士忌酒。

晚上，我们领队会带您到当地酒吧喝点东西（此项活动为自愿参加，其中购买酒水饮料等费用不包括在团费内），这个是个能跟其他团员交流的好机会，广交来自世界各地的朋友们。

第二天：

早餐：上午7点

如果您是A团，今天是您的自由游玩爱丁堡的时间。

如果您是B团，在您用过早餐之后，大约7点45分，我们会搭乘巴士前往著名的尼斯湖水怪（Loch Ness Monster）所在地 – 苏格兰高地国家公园 (Scottish Highlands) 。巴士会带领我们穿梭在一些苏格兰历史最重要的地区，例如斯特灵城堡（Stirling Castle），在此地13世纪末期，苏格兰人民曾经在威廉 华莱士和罗伯特布鲁斯国王的带领下打败了英格兰入侵者，从而争取到自己的独立。

上午9.20分左右，我们会在苏格兰高地的大门口，戈兰德（Callender）暂做休息。您可以就近的咖啡厅里喝杯热茶。有趣的是，在我们就近休息的地方，另有一位苏格兰鼎鼎有名的牦牛，名叫黑米十（Hamish）。苏格兰牦牛为苏格兰特有的高地牛种，形象可爱，性情温顺。

在 离开戈兰德，我们就正式进入苏格兰高地国家公园了，沿途所经过的景色，一定会让您叹为观止，静静的湖面倒影着周围的高山密树在天空的映脱下，形成一幅幅美 丽的画卷。很多著名现代电影都在苏格兰高地设置过拍摄基地，我们众所周知的有，哈里波特系列电影，勇敢的心等等。在路程中，您也会有机会看到英国的最高峰 – 耐维斯山 （Ben Nevis）

下午1.30分左右，我们就回到带了大名鼎鼎的尼斯湖畔了，我们会沿途开车前往在尼斯湖沿岸的一处城堡 – 阿齐特城堡（Urquhart Castle），这个也是观赏整个尼斯湖最好的地点之一了。

晚上8点钟左右，我们再次回到爱丁堡，回到旅店休息。

第三天：

早餐过后，如果您没有报名参加我们的达芬奇密码团，您还会有一天的时间来利用您的自由时间来观赏爱丁堡。

如果您报名参加今天的达芬奇密码团，就来同我们前往达芬奇密码的发源地 － 罗缌琳教堂 （Da Vinci Code - Rosslyn Chapel Tour，此团有额外费用30英镑）。罗缌琳教堂开始名声远扬，是因为英国作家丹 布朗的小说 － 达芬奇密码。小说后来被美国好莱屋的制片人拍成电影，影片最后就是在爱丁堡附近的罗缌琳教堂拍摄完成，同时也给观众留下一个个谜团：基督的后人，圣殿骑士等等。

在罗缌琳教堂之外，我们还将带您到玫萝丝修道院 （Melrose Abbey) ，当年同苏格兰的民族英雄－威廉华莱士并肩作战的苏格兰国王－罗伯特布鲁斯， 他的心脏就埋葬在这里。

除了这两处苏格兰的名胜之外，您还有机会领略苏格兰南部 (Scottish Borders) 的自然风光。

此团全程由当地英文导游陪同，英文解说。不包括到罗缌琳教堂，玫萝丝修道院 (Melrose Abbey) 的门票和您餐饮的费用。在下午4点左右，车子会直接把您送到爱丁堡火车站 ( Edinburgh Waverley Station)。

我们下午5点搭乘回程列车前往伦敦，抵达伦敦的时间大约在晚上10点左右。

Día Uno:

Al llegar a Edimburgo realizará un tour guiado por la ciudad con nuestro guía local escocés, antes de ir al hotel.

Día Dos:

Si viaja a las Tierras Altas Escocesas y Lago Ness (Tour B) prepárese para ver un increíble paisaje. Es accidentado, agreste y muy diferente a otras partes de Gran Bretaña. Simplemente, es impresionante. El autobús sale del hotel a las 8.00 h y regresa al mismo sitio a las 19.30 h. Tenga en cuenta que tenemos un número limitado de plazas en esta opción y nos debe informar en el momento de la reserva si desea participar.

Si tiene nuestra opción de Edimburgo “Free & Easy” (tour A) tendrá el día libre para explorar por su cuenta la ciudad de Edimburgo. Su guía posee muchos conocimientos de la ciudad y estará encantado de ofrecerle la información necesaria para que aproveche al máximo el día.

Día Tres:

Día completo para disfrutar de los diferentes lugares de interés que ofrece la ciudad de Edimburgo, antes de coger nuestro tren de vuelta a Londres a las 5 pm. También ofrecemos la oportunidad de visitar la capilla de Roslyn y el monasterio de Melrose. (Vea el tour opcional día 3 abajo).

Su visita, transferencias y tour a las tierras altas de Escocia (si realiza el Tour B) se hará en un moderno y lujoso autocar.

Dejando su alojamiento a las 9:30, su Tour le llevará al sur a visitar las mundialmente famosas vistas escocesas, donde podrá disfrutar del impresionante paisaje escocés como el valle de Tweed y las colinas de Eildon. También tendrá la oportunidad de visitar el monumento original de William Wallace.

Desde aquí viaje hasta Melrose, con la oportunidad de explorar “Border Abbey”, fundada por los monjes Cistercienses en el siglo XII. Los monjes Cistercienses tenían muchas conexiones con los caballeros templarios y Melrose Abbey fue el lugar donde enterraron el corazón de Robert Bruce, traído de vuelta de las cruzadas de la España musulmana.

Después de comer en Melrose, se dirigirán a la impresionante Capilla Rosslyn del siglo XV. Inmortalizada por Dan Bromws en la novela “El Código Da Vinci”, aquí podrá descubrir más sobre los mitos y leyendas que rodean el "Santo Grial", que también fue mostrado en la película protagonizada por Tom Hanks  - El Código Da Vinci. Desde aquí volverá a la estación de trenes de Edimburgo donde cogerá su tren de vuelta.

El alojamiento en este tour es en una casa de huéspedes escocesa, en habitaciones con ducha y baño privado, televisión y máquina de té/café. En fechas señaladas (Abril – Agosto) las opciones de alojamiento pueden variar, por favor, llame para más detalles.
