Paris tour details
Take a cruise on the river Seine, see the Eiffel Tower, walk along the Champs Elysées, see the Arc de Triomphe, visit Montmartre (the area in which the film Amélie was made), take a photo of the Moulin Rouge (the home of the cancan) see the Cathedral of Notre Dame and explore the Louvre Museum!
Day 1 - On arrival in Paris meet the coach and guide on our first scheduled visit at the Bateuax Parisiens boat cruise (approximate time 15:30-16:00), by the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Our guide will meet you there and begin your tour. This tour includes a cruise on the spectacular river Seine and also gives you the opportunity to climb the Eiffel Tower (entrance fee is extra) to get a 'bird's eye view' of this wonderful city.
Then we pass by the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées (with photo stops) before arriving at the hotel. During the evening, you will have the option to join your guide for dinner in a nearby local restaurant. This is a great opportunity to try the local food, whilst getting to know your fellow travellers (food, drink and any public transport is extra).
If you arrive early in Paris it may be possible to check in first at the hotel. Please contact our office for details.
Day 2 - After breakfast, meet the guide at 9am for a full day of sightseeing. The first stop is Mon
tmartre for the Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre and Moulin Rouge. Then on to Ille de la Cite and the world famous Notre Dame Cathedral, with time for lunch and shopping on the banks of the Seine. The day finishes with some free time for shopping in Opera. Here you can shop in the department stores Galeries Lafayette or Printemps, see the Opera Garnier (entrance charge), visit the food shops Hediard or Fauchon, or maybe enjoy tea and macaroons at La Duree before the coach transfers you back to the hotel. Or you can join our half day tour to Versailles.
Half day trip to the Palace & Gardens of Versailles - £25 - A fully guided half day coach tour to the stunning Palace & Gardens of Versailles. Built in the 17th century during the reign of Louis XIV to project the absolute power of the French monarchy, it served as the polital capital and royal court for over 100 hundred years, until in 1789 the revolutionary mobs massacred the Palace Guard and dragged Louis XVI and Marie-Antionette to Paris to cut off their heads! Undoubtedly the grandest and most famous chateau in France. Price includes coach, tour guide and entry to the Palace/Gardens.
Alternatively, you may wish to do your own sightseeing. The All Season Paris Bercy is so central sightseeing on your own is a very simple option.
Evening free to enjoy the Paris nightlife. From our hotel Bercy metro station is a two minute walk, and all areas of Paris City centre are easily accessible in minutes by metro.
Day 3 - A morning coach excursion to the Louvre Museum (entry not included, free on the first Sunday of every month) and your chance to see the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, Michelangelo's Dying Slave or to follow the trail of the Da Vinci Code! Our guided tour of Paris finishes after lunch on day 3.
Christmas (24-27th December 2010) in Paris - Our Easter and Christmas tours will be 4 day tours which include all of the above and one extra day in Paris. There will be an option to join our day trip to Disneyland Paris (£39 extra), or simply enjoy a free day in this stunning city.

Your accommodation is included in the price of your tour on a bed and breakfast basis. The price you pay is based on 2 people sharing a twin or double bedded room. If you would like a single room for 1 person we offer an upgrade for £70 extra. Single travellers can avoid paying a single supplement by sharing a twin room with another person (of the same sex) from the tour group. We arrange this service automatically, unless you select the single upgrade option when you are making your booking.

Directions to the Hotel:
- Arrival by Eurostar - Your train will arrive at Gare du Nord Station.
Taxi - A taxi to the hotel from Gare du Nord will take approximately 12-15 minutes and cost about 15-20 euros.
Train/Metro - Take the RER line D from Gare du Nord for 2 stops to Gare de Lyon. From here it is a 10 minute walk to the hotel, or you can then take metro line 14 for one stop to Bercy and a 2 minute walk to the hotel. - Arrival by Aeroplane at Charles de Gaulle
Train/Metro - Take RER line B from Charles de Gaulle to Chatelet les Halles. This will take 45-50 minutes and costs 9/10 euros return. Then change to metro line 14 at Chatelet for the metro to Bercy (4 minutes). The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Bercy metro station.
Coach - The coach 'les cars Air France' line 4. This runs direct to Gare de Lyon from Charles de Gaulle. Journey time is 45 minutes and costs 17/18 euros return. From Gare de Lyon it is a 10 minute walk to the hotel, or you can then take the metro line 14 for one stop to Bercy and a 2 minute walk to the hotel.
Taxi - From Charles de Gaulle to the hotel will cost approximately 55-60 euros, and take 50 minutes. - Arrival by Aeroplane at Orly
Train/Metro - Take the Orlyval shuttle from the airport to Anthony station, then take RER line B to Chatelet les Halles. Total journey time will be 35-40 minutes. Then take the metro line 14 from Chatelet to Bercy. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Bercy metro station.
