Glen Turret Distillery, the Hermitage & Dunkeld North to Crieff...
As you head towards the Highlands you'll be able to stop to photograph the amazing Forth Railway Bridge. You'll then pass beautiful Stirling Castle and head to the picturesque market town of Crieff.
A Unique Tasting Experience at Glen Turret...
Over lunch you can choose to explore Crieff or visit the Glenturret Distillery (home of the Famous Grouse brand)* Here we are proud to offer you a unique opportunity to sample whisky from the cask at a tutored tasting in a real whisky warehouse - this is a first in Scotland and a Highland Experience exclusive!
Into the Highlands in the Sma' Glen...
Further north, we enter the Sma' Glen and all of a sudden you'll know that you have arrived in the Highlands as the countryside takes on a much more imposing character.
History and Heritage at the Hermitage...
The Hermitage is a beautiful National Trust site on the banks of the River Braan. This is the perfect spot for a leafy walk through stunning countryside. See Ossian's Cave and Ossian's Hall, a Victorian folly built to honour the immortal bard of the Gaels.
Coffee and a Cathedral at Dunkeld...
On the way home, we stop for coffee at Dunkeld on the banks of the River Tay. Take a look at its beautiful cathedral and be transported back in time to when Dunkeld was a pocket-sized city and the centre of Scottish Christianity.
