Travel with us on this city break from London to the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, with its beautiful canals and narrow gabled houses. Sit back, relax and enjoy the fun way of life this city proudly proclaims to the world. After a delightful cruise along the canals on our guided boat tour you will check in to your accommodation. Your guide will then offer a walking tour and after you will have time to explore on foot other parts of the city, including the old fortifications and the Red Light District before heading out for a night in the bright lights and bars of Amsterdam!
On the second day of your weekend trip to Amsterdam, you’ll have the chance to visit the idyllic Zaanse Schans, a traditional Dutch town. We visit a traditional cheese maker, sample the local produce, see how the famous wooden shoes or 'clogs' are made, and you’ll even have the chance to visit a working Dutch museum with fascinating collection of wooden houses, farms and windmills. We then return to Amsterdam, with optional drop off locations such as the Anne Frank House or the Vincent Van Gogh museum, or simply back to the hotel if you wish. This afternoon is at your leisure to continue enjoying this iconic city.
On our third day we check out after breakfast and head to Belgium, to visit the beautiful city of Bruges. We enjoy a guided tour of Bruges, weaving through cobbled streets and timber framed buildings. Visit the famous chocolate shops, see traditional lace making, climb the 366 steps up to the Belfry, just wind down in one of the many bars and sample some of the world renowned Belgian beer.
After some time in Bruges, our Amsterdam weekend comes to a close, before we journey back through France to Calais, for our return to London.
We offer two types of accommodation for this tour, catering for differing budgets and preferences. Breakfast is included in all options.
The basic price of this tour includes 2-6 bedded ensuite accommodation, sharing with other members of the tour (same sex). These rooms are exceptionally good value for money with a short walking distance to the city centre. Great for single travellers who do not want to pay for single room upgrades, and a great way to meet your fellow travellers.
Shared Accommodation If you do not select one of the upgrade options at time of booking, you will automatically be placed in a room with customers of the same gender.
Twin/Double Room Upgrade You can choose to upgrade from the shared accommodation to a twin/double room for a £22.50 per night supplement. If you are a single traveller booking the twin/double upgrade option, you will be placed in a twin room with another single traveller from the group (same sex). Please note that all room upgrades are on a per person basis.
3 Star Upgrade
We use a selection of 3* hotels in the city centre, including the Tulip Inn Amsterdam centre, Die Port Van Cleve and Nova Hotel. All hotels hotel are good quality 3* hotels located in the city centre, walking distance to many attractions. Rooming based on ensuite twin/double rooms
3 star Twin/Double Accommodation You can choose to upgrade your accommodation to a twin or double room for an additional £30 per night supplement. If you are a single traveller booking the twin/double upgrade option, you will be placed in a twin room with another single traveller from the group (same sex). Please note that all room upgrades are on a per person basis.
3 star Single Accommodation At our 3* hotel we also offer a single supplement upgrade option, where you can book a single room for an additional £60 per night. Please note that all room upgrades are on a per person basis.
To avoid disappointment, all accommodation upgrades should be added at the time of booking.

Pick ups from Kent & Cambridge will be completed in smaller, private vehicles and passengers will be transferred to the coach prior to arriving at the EuroTunnel.
This tour will finish in London at approximately 10:00pm on the Sunday. The finishing time for passengers who joined the tour in Cambridge, Ramsgate or Canterbury will vary, as the transfer service that we provide links in with our other tours. The transfer service will be by private transport or rail.
Do I need a passport for this tour? Yes, you will need to be in possession of a valid passport in order to take part in this city break.
I have a Visa for the UK already, can I travel to Netherlands? International Friends cannot give immigration advice to our guests so we would strongly suggest you to check with neareat Dutch Consulate for more information about your visa requirement (if applicable).
How much luggage I can bring with me? Your luggage will be stored in locker compartment on your bus, each passenger can bring up two suitcases.
