London Afternoon Tea Bus Tour - International Au Pairs day for BAPAA
In recognition of the vital role of au pairs as a cultural exchange movement, IAPA have designated 24th November 2019 to be an International Au Pair Day! Here in the UK, we want to do something really special and memorable!
To celebrate this momentous day, Tuuli (Smartaupairs) & Cynthia (Rainbow Au Pairs) are really excited to host the event which is exclusive to BAPAA member agency au pairs.
Our vintage routemaster bus will drive you through the streets of Central London, taking in some of the City’s best sights, whilst you indulge in a fabulous Afternoon Tea on a double decker bus! What could be more iconic than to combine our lovely red double decker bus recognised world wide with the quintessential English practice of having afternoon tea? Well you can now do both! Please join us for this unique event!
The event is exclusive to BAPAA au pairs, and their friends! So feel free to bring a friend or two. Our vintage routemaster bus will drive you through the streets of Central London, taking in some of the City’s best sights, whilst you indulge in a fabulous Afternoon Tea on a double decker bus.
Tour includes;
- A tour of London's most famous sites on a vintage double decker bus
- A high tea, with tasty sandwiches and delicious cakes and pastries
- A recorded guide-commentary on board
- Friendly servers to answer any questions
Capture the heart of the city’s culture, landmarks and history on our London Routemaster bus, whilst sipping on a lovely cup of tea and enjoying the exquisite tastes of France. High tea accompanied with an array of tasty sandwiches and delicious cakes and pastries. Your London bus driver will take you round Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James’s Park, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall, Marble Arch, Nelson’s Column, Downing Street and more. The London sightseeing tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (depending on traffic).
Please note that places for this tour are very limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

We offer traditional, gluten-free*, vegan, vegetarian and halal afternoon teas. Unfortunately, we are not nut-free.
All dietary requirements or allergies MUST be notified in the Dietary Requirements box in the booking process.

Please ensure you are at the departure point at least 10 minutes prior to the tours departure. Seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
