You will fall in love with the wonderful City of Light on this exciting weekend break to Paris. Travelling to Paris from London takes just two and a half hours by Eurostar train, allowing us to really make the most of this city break. Upon arrival, take your seat on our coach and enjoy a fully guided tour, a fantastic way to start your weekend in Paris. After your tour, there will be some time for lunch on the Champs Élysées. After checking in to our hotel we travel by Metro to relax on our river cruise along the Seine. Glide past many iconic sights like The Louvre and Notre Dame, then end the cruise at the Eiffel Tower with a chance to climb to the very top.
After breakfast, we head out for a sightseeing tour by Metre. We'll visit Montmartre, to learn of the struggles of the artists that lived there, from Renoir to Van Gogh. Admire the views across Paris, and take your chance to visit the beautiful Sacre Couer basilica. After a guided walk, we head to Notre Dame cathedral and the Latin Quarter with a break for lunch.
In the afternoon we have an optional visit to the majestic and world famous Palace of Versailles to see the richly decorated rooms and chambers of Louis XIV. Explore the famous chateau, then see the Hall of Mirrors and the Hall of Battles, and marvel at the opulent and awe inspiring interiors.
On the final day of this city break, you will have ample time to visit the most famous museum in the world, the Louvre. Admire the Mona Lisa, see the Venus de Milo, Michelangelo's Slaves, Delacroix' Liberty Leading the People and David's Consecration of Napoleon. Feast your eyes on romantic art, and classical sculpture before returning to the city for some free time, to finish up your souvenir shopping and one final coffee, before our return transfer to Paris Gare du Nord for the train back to London.
Hotel accommodation for this tour is provided in good quality, city centre 3* hotels. All rooms are en suite, and breakfast is included. Examples of our regular hotels are the Ibis Styles Paris Bercy.
The price of this city break is based on two people sharing a twin or double bedded room. If you would like a single room for 1 person we offer an upgrade for an additional £45 per night. Single travellers who do not choose to upgrade to a single room at time of booking will be allocated to a twin room with another member of the group (of the same sex).
Please ensure you arrive at your selected departure point at least 15 minutes before your meeting time.

We also have Kent & Cambridge pick ups available; passengers joining this tour from the beow locations will be transferred by taxi to London St Pancras, where they will need to meet the guide opposite the Eurostar departures check in desk.
Check in must be complete at least 30 minutes prior to the trains departure. Please adhere to the meeting time on your e-ticket to ensure you have enough time to check in for the departure.
London to Paris Depart London St.Pancras between 7.00am and 7:55am, arrive Paris Gare du Nord 11:00am - 11:30am
Paris to London Depart Paris Gare du Nord late afternoon/early evening (typically between 5:15pm - 6:30pm, timings vary slightly depending on date), arrive London St.Pancras 6:30pm - 7:45pm.
The finishing time for passengers who joined the tour in Cambridge, Ramsgate or Canterbury will vary, as the transfer service that we provide links in with our other tours. The transfer service will be by private transport or rail.
Do I need a passport for this tour? Yes, you will need to be in possession of a vaild passport in order to travel to France for this tour
I have a Visa for the UK already, can I travel to France? International Friends cannot give immigration advice to our guests, so we strongly suggest you check with the nearest French Consulate for more information about your visa requirement (if there is any)

Will I have to pay for any additional travel in Paris? All transfers to and from the train station are included in the price of this city break. The sightseeing tour by Metro is not, and we reccommend buying a 'carnet' of metro tickets. This allows 10 journeys in Paris by metro, and costs approximately £12. Your guide will assist you when buying the carnet in Paris.
