  1. How long after my flight arrival time should I book our pick up at the airport?

At airports incoming flights are monitored and the driver will adjust his/her arrival time to the actual flight landing time. The driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall (after you have collected your luggage) with your name from 30 minutes after actual landing - not scheduled landing time. If you would like to select a later meeting time please let us know in the ‘Additional Comments’ box during the booking process. Our driver will wait for you for 60 minutes after entering the arrivals hall (90 minutes after you land). After this additional waiting charges will be applied.

  1. What happens if we need to delay our pick up due to late flight arrival etc?

If your flight is delayed, we will not charge for amending your pick-up time. Should you miss your flight or be delayed in getting through the airport to meet your driver, you should contact us as soon as possible on the contact number on your E-Ticket and we will do our best to accommodate a new pick up time. The driver will wait for a maximum of 90 minutes after your flight has landed. If we do not hear from you in this period the driver will be forced to leave.  You must call us on the emergency number listed on your e-ticket; please do not email us if you are delayed in coming through customs or border control, as emails are not monitored 24/7. After this we will not be able to guarantee your transfer. We do strongly recommend travel insurance to protect you from unforeseen delays or other factors beyond your control.

  1. How will we contact our driver on the day?

After booking you will be sent a confirmation email with the International Friends contact details on. Nearer the time of travel, we will allocate your booking to one of our local providers; at this point your E-Ticket will be sent to you. The E-Ticket will have contact details for you to use on the day of travel should it be necessary.

  1. Should we tip our driver?

Tips are entirely at the customer’s discretion and in no way expected. Should you feel inclined to tip your driver would be grateful, but you should not feel obliged. 10-15% is customary in the UK.

  1. I have sightseeing included in my transfer – do I need to book entry?

Yes, we would always advise that you pre-book your attraction entries to help prevent any disappointment on the day.

  1. When booking Stonehenge, I have to select a time slot – what time should I book?

If you are being collected from London, you should book Stonehenge approximately 2 hours after your pick up time. If you are being picked up in Southampton, you should book Stonehenge approximately 1 hour after your pick up time.
