Day 1
Day 2
After breakfast on our second day we board our coach and head into the lush green Dutch countryside passing historic windmills and vast tracts of land reclaimed from the ocean known as Polders. We visit a traditional cheese maker and sample the local produce then see how the famous wooden shoes or 'clogs' are made. At Zaanse Schans we visit a working Dutch museum with fascinating collection of wooden houses, farms and windmills. On our way back into Amsterdam we head back into the city centre with optional drop off locations such as the Anne Frank House or the Vincent Van Gogh museum or simply back to the hotel. Pre-booking is essential for the Anne Frank house and is recommended for the Van Gogh gallery.
