I was lucky enough to go on your 3 day coach trip to Paris and had a most excellent time. The tour was led by a very knowledgeable guide who managed to pack in an eye-watering array of sights in the time allowed. You'd have needed a Tardis to have done and seen more. I doubt I'll every forget the fabulous hotel breakfast or standing at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Visit Paris with INternational Friends, you wont be disappointed.
UK - February 2014 - Paris by Coach
Thank you for your email advising of the change to the Southampton-London via Stonehenge transfer, 15th May 2013.We have just returned home to Australia and have received your email re the transfer notification. We cannot praise your company enough for your efficient and A1 quality of service. The driver on way to Southampton from London provided an excellent service. On our return journey from our cruise we were priviledged to have an A1 plus fully-guided coach which made the 1 hour stop at the Salisbury Cathedral. The tour guide did an exemplary job, if only I could remember his name... but full credit is due to him for his knowledge and customer service.A huge thankyou to International Friends for enabling us to transfer, without worries, from London-Southampton-London.If ever we revisit the UK we will certainly be seeking the services of International Friends.
Thankyou all so much.L&M
Australia - 15th May 2013 Southampton - London via Stonehenge
Just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with your service from the cruise port to our hotel in London. Everything went so smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stonehenge. Our driver, Martin, was superb. He kept us laughing but also provided us with very interesting information about the sights along the way to London. Once in London, we were amazed with his driving skills and ability to stay calm. We happened to be the last people being dropped off (Mecure London Bridge Hotel) which was fantastic as Martin provided us with our own "tour" on the way to our hotel. We will definitely recommend your services. Thanks again and say "hi" to Martin for us.
Canada - May 2013 - Southampton, Stonehenge to Heathrow and Central London - 1 Day
Your tour guide is excellent and I learned a lot from him. Everything worked out fine. We are very glad we booked your tour
United States . 04.05.2013 Dover, Canterbury and Leeds Castle to Heathrow and Central London - 1 day
I initially booked with a little trepidation, as I just found you on line and took a chance. But what a wonderful experience we had. The bus was on time at the exact location, the driver was excellent, and the entire experience was outstanding. Thank you so much for this service!!
United States - 30.04.2013 Central London and Heathrow to Southampton via Stonehenge - 1 day
Excellent from start to finish! Our guide Robert was EXTREMELY Knowledgeable about the history of each location, and made the trip really enjoyable. I highly recommend this Company and this Tour!
United States - 01.04.2013 A Harvest of history Windsor, Bath & Stonehege Tour.
It was a really great trip. I also joined a paris tour and enjoyed it a lot, too.I have never experienced such wonderful tours as those by international friends.
A thoroughly enjoyable trip for us both. We found Mike's hospitality, knowledge and appreciation of history exceptional and really added to the overall experience of the trip. He spoke about various anecdotes, facts about historical places, figures, locations in stunning detail during the entire trip. This was particularly enjoyable and useful during the drives between locations. A plethora of knowledge that was like a two-day history program hands-on. The Medieval buildings, churches, abbeys and cottages he showed us were incredible and we had plenty of time to explore our surroundings at each stop. A truly unique experience that I absolutely recommend to everyone.
Canada 16.02.2013 Oxford, Cotswolds, Bath, Lacock and Stonehenge - 2 days
Our guide was David and I thought he was outstanding! From the moment we got in the bus he delighted us with his knowledge. He told us where we were and what we were seeing out the windows. He explained how the climate, religious and political history shaped country. I have been to London before, but because there is so much to do in the city I have never had the opportunity to venture out into the countryside. I am so glad that I found this tour. It was wonderful to travel in a small group with a friendly and knowledgable guide. It felt like being in the company of family. Thank you for the highlight of our holiday.
United States - 25.01.2013 King Arthur's Realm - Stonehenge, Avebury and Glastonbury - 1 day
I and my daughter and some of our fellow travellers , we were happy very much with Andrew and Steve (lovely driver). They were excellent, take care and welcome to allof us, never shown any upset or bad attitude. Both of them are perfect and friendly !!
Thailand - 24.12.2012 Christmas in Paris
Overall, a very friendly professional service which made me feel safe and able to approach without feeling unable to. No stress. Would and have been highly recommending to others. The meal was very nice and the history presented very clearly. Info on certain parts and what to expect/not to expect was valuable and important for those like myself who were unfamiliar with certain parts of Paris! Would use this service again to book on future tours. Many thanks!
United Kingdom - 24.12.2012 Christmas in Paris
We really enjoyed our tour. The group was very small (6 people), a comfortable minibus and Tony is really funny!! We loved all the places we’ve visited and I think the time spent in each place was enough. Certainly I’ll recommend you to my friends
Brazil 02.05.2012 A Harvest of History Windsor, Bath & Stonehenge - 1 day
The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable of all the history of the sites. We really enjoyed him. The tour was wonderful, we got a good taste of each spot. The booking was easy and we greatly appreciated that we were able to change the date from our original date. Your flexibility was much appreciated. Emily was wonderful in changing the booking for us and kindly replying to emails quickly and throroughly. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend International Friends tours to others! Thank you!
25.04.2012 United States A Harvest of History Windsor, Bath & Stonehenge - 1 day
It was a really great trip. I also joined a paris tour and enjoyed it a lot, too.I have never experienced such wonderful tours as those by international friends.
This was my fifth tour with International Friends, and I still have no complaints! I did the Oxford, Cotswolds, and Stratford tour with David, who was superb, as usual. We had some trouble with the bus early on, but he kept it together, got us to Oxford, and had it fixed by the time we got back! Andrew also joined us at Oxford, and he gave us a first-rate tour of the University town and various colleges. Both of them are engaging, professional, and just fun! I always enjoy the days I get to spend outside of London with the guides at International Friends, and today was no exception.
London - 29th december 2011
We had a pretty full week planned in London but didn't want to leave without seeing some of the nearby sights. We booked a tour which took us to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath - all in one day. Our guide was local and very knowledgeable. He had a great sense of humor; everything was on time; the bus was clean and comfortable. In short we had a great time, learned a lot and feel our vacation couldn't have been better. We would definitely recommend this tour agency.
Washington DC, District of Columbia - 10th December 2011
David our driver and guide was a delight! He always kept us informed and inspired by his awesome info and stories relating to places we were heading to as well as the whole country.Genuine interest is what we felt from this man and it made our 1 day trip unforgettable. We went to Stonehenge, Glastonbury Abbey and Chalice Well++ He also suggested restaurant and traveling tips in London for us. Love the dude! Thank u International Friends!.
Helsinki, Finland - 8th December 2011
Heard of the quaint village of Lacock, the beauty of Bath and the mysterious Stonehenge - we were simply raring to see them all after spending 3 days in London. Our driver / guide, David, was a knowledgeable, jovial and easy-going guy. Initial reservation of being cooped up in a small minivan full of strangers was really unfounded. David quickly put everyone at ease with his friendliness and informative commentary. The advantage of travelling in a minivan enabled us to travel on narrow countryside roads that offered breathtaking sights of the country side - a real bonus to an already perfectly refreshing tour. We look forward to returning to relive the tour perhaps with overnight stays at the picturesque Bath and charming Cotswold with IF one day.
Sharon Khong form Petaling Jaya, Malaysia - 25th November 2011
My husband, son and I took this day trip in October. Our 16 passenger bus picked us up at the allotted time and place. Nicholas was our bus driver and guide for the day. He was extraordinary, a quintessential English tour guide. Our day was very enjoyable scooting around the countryside in the very agile van and I must say, expert driving. He pointed out many things and added humorous anecdotes. We had time to explore each site, though we could have used more time at Windsor, but being off season, Windsor had ‘gentlemen’s hours’ which our bus driver pointed out. The traffic was a bit heavy which delayed us a bit too. All in all it was a day well spent. We were on a family vacation in London for one week. This was a perfect day trip to go on.
Rochester, Minnesota - 10th November 2011
Wow, this is probably the best tour I've been on yet! My husband and I were in awe all throughout the trip! What was more fascinating than the view, monuments and stone circles was that I couldn't tell the difference between our driver/guide and an archaeologist!! David knew soooooo much about the history and facts behind every single place we visited -and the places in between- and was always glad to answer any questions and give us tips. The tour itself was not tiring at all, as most tours usually are. The stops were frequent (the longest drive from one stop to another was less than 2 hours) and the mini bus was comfortable, clean and cozy. You pay nothing when entering the sites, as the tickets are included in the tour, which is another advantage. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in a quiet comfortable drive through the English countryside, and of course to those who enjoy ancient history, the Arthurian myths. New Agers, Esoterists and Neopagans will adore all these sites, especially Glastonbury!!
Angie D from Miloi, Argolis, Greece - 7th November 2011
We had a real good tour guide in Tony, and there was never a dull moment. Gave us a lot of information on the sites we would see and back ground on others. Would do it again.
Donna L from Dauphin, Canada - 21st October 2011
One day tour to Bath, Lacock, and Stonehenge in a van/small bus that held 16 people including the guide. Because the van was small we could go down small country roads and visit Lacock, a National Historic Trust town where period movies are made. If you have been on a tour before, you know that nothing is better than a small group and 15 folks is a very good size. Our guide, Tony, was excellent - very personable, funny, and knowledgeable. We stopped at only four places to pick up people and we were on our way. We were dropped off at either where we were picked up or at a place along the way that was closer to our destination. I was picked up on time at the British Museum. I took a Premium Tour where we were picked up (20 minutes late) and taken to Victoria Station - where were were told which bus to get on for our individual tour. This worked and was relatively organized, but it took a lot of time. Had I known International Friends was going to be such an excellent tour company, I would have booked more day tours form London with them.
Joan D from Cleveland, Ohio - 19th October 2011
Wowee! What a great time we had on the Stonehenge/Bath/Windsor Castle Tour in July 2011!!Yes, Stonehenge was fascinating, and Bath was a series of unexpected delights, but what made it all so edge-of-your-seat exciting and riveting was our zany but well-informed tour guide, Tony. To describe him as ‘well-informed’ is, however, to do him an injustice. Tony was able to impart tidbits of knowledge that were far from boring, but were, in fact, often delightfully anecdotal and cutting-edge. Nothing was too hard for him and he assisted the tour’s members in everything from viable places to see to affordable eateries. What’s more, it was all executed with a casual ease that rendered our tour both comfortable and enjoyable to the max. A sense of humour is just what a tourist welcomes in a foreign country, and Tony kept us entertained the whole time on the road.Plenty to write about in our travel journals after this engaging excursion! Thanks muchly Tony, and have no fear, you certainly lived up to expectation, and then some!! You could give those university professors a run for their money!!Needless to say, my daughter and I thoroughly recommend ‘International Friends’.
Lorena and Kristina from Sydney, Australia - 16th October 2011
I took the trip to the Cotswalds, Bath and Stonehenge this past September, and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Tony, our tour guide, was well-versed on the areas that we visited and shared his knowledge in an easy, humorous manner. He took the time to engage everyone present, and was helpful and pleasant. Our first stop was Lacock, a picture-book village in the Cotswalds. Beautifully preserved by the National Trust, this village also holds some treats for Harry Potter lovers as it was featured in some of the Potter films. Even better than that, though, are the historical buildings scattered all about, and the sheer quaintness of the area. We also visited Bath and Stonehenge, with ample free time to wander about and explore. Because this company uses small buses, the tour has a nice intimate feel and didn't give me the feeling of being a sheep herded about all day. The small group size probably accounts for the tour's somewhat steep price tag, but the tour and the quality of the guide (Tony), made it worth every single penny. Highly recommended!
Boston, Massachusetts - 29th September 2011
International Friends is the best! The small group tour format creates an unforgettable tour experience. The guides were friendly, expert and professionaly. I felt like I was a part of the International Friends family after taking the Oxford/Cotswald/Stratford tour and the Stonehenge/Bath/Windsor tour. Exceptional!.
Seattle, Washington - 12th September 2011
It was an absolutely magical day. Tony, our tour guide, was amazing, witty, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and a lot of fun. His informative tour of Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Avebury opened my eyes to things I would have never been able to see without him. How did I get so lucky the coach driver and guide was a Neolithic historian? These phenomenal sacred sites would have been enough on their own, but the coach, guide, and organization of the tour was an added bonus and an all-around superb experience. Thank you!
Tiffany Novotny - 11th September 2011
I had a really great time, the places we went were breathtaking. Everything was well organised and the guides were amazing, funny and knowledgeable .Special mention for Tom who took really good care of us! Hope this helps!
Liza Cohen - 28th August 2011
I enjoyed the tour very much. Our tour guide, Andy, was very knowledgeable and entertaining and added information to satisfy special interests e.g. (Harry Potter references for the children on the tour). The driver, David, was excellent - navigating the narrow Cotswolds roads with skill and care, and always finding good places to let us off and pick us up again. I will certainly book another IF tour next time I'm in the UK.
Sue Skrinda - 11th August 2011
Our tour guide, Edward was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, and provided us with much more in depth information than any other tour could have provided us with. He was personable, patient with questions, and was always eager to share his knowledge. We were extremely pleased with him and the tour, and we would recommend your company to anyone!
Judith, Dan, Devon and Chris Britt - 27th July 2011
Tony was our guide on the Sonehenge, Bath and Landsdale tour. He was just great. Very friendly with my children, knowledgeable and made the tour super fun. Andrew took us to Oxford, Cotswolds and Avon. He was very knowledgeable as well. We had a great time and look forward to using your services when we visit another time. Recommending your business to other friends as well.
Shital Parikh - 14th July 2011
The tour was phenomenal! Our guide was very informative and fun to spend the day with. Couldn't have asked for any better!
Cortney Henseler - 15th June 2011
We thoroughly enjoyed out tour with David and appreciated all the conversation he had with us about the sights we were seeing. It was a great day and we highly recommend the Windsor / Bath / Stonehenge tour!
Wendy Pickard - 4th June 2011
I can tell you that I loved it. Everything was great. The tour guide Andrew is brilliant. Very sharp, funny and easy going to all the stumbling travellers. He is a great representative of your company. I have already referred your company to friends back home in Vancouver Canada. Love it. Thank you. I'll be back!
Katherine Moir - 12th May 2011
My sister and I had a wonderful day and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. David our driver and guide was fantastic- informative, interesting and so very knowledgeable. He was amazing and went above and beyond to make our day so fabulous.
Denise Kessel Y - 3rd May 2011
We had the best day! Our tour guide Tony was funny, very knowledgable and accommodating. Their were four people in our group and we haven't stopped talking about the International Friends tour. I would recommend this tour agency to everyone and would definitely book again myself.

Daniel Hurley - 9th April 2011
What a fantastic weekend we had. Please convey to David our driver how great he was. His knowledge on so many things was so good. We loved Chester, accommodation in Llandedno was excellent, train journey great and Snowdonia beautiful and all the many other stops along the way were so beautiful and interesting. I would recommend you to anyone. i was with three other friends and although we were by far the oldest on the coach we all got on with all the other young people. I booked this trip for my sister in laws 60th and we will have great memories of a realyy good fun weekend.Thanks. Also Martin was so nice when I booked it and very knowledgeable.

I absolutely fell in love with Wales as a result of this tour. Our tour guide, Mike Wilson, was PHENOMENAL and I would recommend this tour to anyone!
Catherine Denison- 5th March 2011
Without a doubt my International Friends Edinburgh, Loch Ness and Highlands by train 3 day Tour was the most wonderful experience of by entire England/Scotland trip. My Tour Guide, Andrew, was so very kind, corteous, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable of the country and its people. I hope everyone will cal International Friends for their next trip.
Jennie Whitehead - 25th February 2011
David was a knowledgeable, charming, polite, funny, accommodating tour guide...we really enjoyed ourselves....it was more than we ever expected, the back country rides on the smaller roads was priceless..he is a good man!! will recommend and, hopefully, do another tour in the future.!!
Danielle Baum - 19th February 2011
I had a great tour with Tony. Lots of fun! And I really appreciate the professionalism of your company--that you ran the tour even though I was the only one who signed up. Tony did a great job, and I was impressed with how much we covered! I really enjoyed it.
Rachel Steiger-Meister - 2nd February 2011
I had an absolutely fabulous time! And it was completely worth every pound spent :) thank you so so much for a great tour!
Katie Stricker - 29th January 2011
I thought everything about the Amsterdam/Bruges Tour was excellent! I would definitely use International Friends again!
Sam Pedreiro - 21st January 2011
Andrew and Rob are best tour guides that I have had in Europe so far. They go out of their way to make each guest feel welcomed and comfortable, as evidenced by their warm and open interactions. Highly knowledgeable, they were able to make a "shopping" trip into an equally informative and interesting one. Overall, International Friends and the tour guides they employ have made traveling feasible, simple, and, above all things, fun. Thanks for the great semester. Colleen Burger - 6th December 2010
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. We found the tour guide, Dave to be amazing with so much information.. We were also very impressed with the accommodation at the Holiday Inn at Bristol. We had a lovely stay there. We will definitely be travelling again with International friends and recommending our friends and family when they come over to visit.
Claire Gummer - 4th December 2010
My wife and I want to express our thanks to you for providing a wonderful tour on 11/24. Tony was a great guide, engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The locations we visited were fantastic and we liked the small group bus. Tony is also an excellent driver and got us through some horrendous holiday shoppers/ commuters traffic on the drive back to london with ease. He is definitely a "keeper". When we return to London we will use your company for another tour and with luck, hope to have Tony or someone of his high caliber be our guide!
Jim Smith and Connie O'Grady - 26th November 2010
I rated each category as Excellent. I wanted to add something about our guide, David. He was more than excellent. I have a long history in travel writing for high end touring companies and appreciate how important a truly informed, amigable and flexible guide is to any tour as tours naturally combine people from many backgrounds with widely varying amounts of knowledge and interest in the area they are seeing. We had a small group of only nine, and at least six of them had little or no knowledge of the history and people significant to this area or the UK in general. Without sounding like a professor of history, David managed to colorize the background of what we were seeing, place it in a time frame and keep their interest up. Two of the people knew nothing at all about fairly modern historical events and people -- and they became interested enough to look for more information on the internet. (They must have been absent from school on those days). Everyone liked David and complimented him, and commented on him, several times. Even two young men who originally got on our bus by mistake had been on a previous tour with him and recognized him -- and said "Hey, it's the same guide, David. He was great." He obviously loves what he does and makes everyone feel welcome and that he's happy that they came -- and that they chose your tour. So thank you, and David, for making this weekend a great birthday!
Beverly Osborn - 6th November 2010
Fabulous tour across the beautiful countryside. The legends and stories made the trip extra special. Quite a fantastic day! Tony was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. He has an endless supply of stories, legends and facts to fill the entire day. The transport was very comfortable and clean. We actually booked through stonehengetours.com. Didn't know any better... Wish we had time to do the other tours. We really enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend these tours with great confidence!
Lisa Pietrantoni - 24th October 2010
My husband and myself enjoyed ourselves very much during the tour. I would give it an Excellent in all aspect. It's definitely great value for money and I would not hesitate to book myself on other tour from International Friends or even to recommend it to my friends.
Linda Lau - 19th October 2010
We had Tony as our tour guide and Bill was the driver. The entire day was Excellent. Tony was funny and I learned a lot from him. He made you feel like an old friend. It's a memory that I will have forever. Thank You.
Jody Chidester - 18th September 2010
David was extremely personable. His knowledge of the area, British history and "pop culture" was most impressive. The tour offered a great balance between structure and "on your own" time that was greatly appreciated. Traveling in a small van enabled us to truly explore the Cotswolds! We look forward to booking future tours with your company when we return to Europe. Thanks for a great day.
Judy Levinsohn - 2nd September 2010
Top marks all round! We had a thoroughly enjoyable day out and it was a great introduction for my American boyfriend and his daughter (living in Denmark), to this most fascinating part of our country. Dave, our guide was just great and very informative, many thanks Dave!! I will definitely recommend this trip to others.
Sue Seber - 20th August 2010
We thought the tour was outstanding. Tony is an excellent tour guide - lots of knowledge and humor! Thanks,
Amy Richter - 11th August 2010
My 3 night Paris was wonderful. The coach/ferry was great. Have a great view from London till Paris. The Paris hotel was the best choice. Our guide ( Mr. Andrew) was so fun to be with. Always ready to help out and really very well inform during the whole tour. Our group with others really had a good times. Met so many friends too. If I plan my next trip with International Friends, I would love my guide to be Andrew again. I will post some of the photos taken during my trip on International Friends travel club Facebook. Note for Andrew : Thank you for been the best tour guide. Hope to be in your tour again. Best regards.
Julie Toh - 30th July 2010
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Tony and the other travelers. We would rate all the services as "excellent." I will certainly share your company with friends and family going to the UK and would love to be able to take every tour you offer. We also took the Thursday tour to Oxford, Cotswolds, and Stratford with Andrew and David and would rate it as excellent, also. The small size was exactly what I was looking for - we viewed the country from narrow, twisty roads the big buses could never navigate, and we met people from Brazil, Argentina, Malaysia, and Canada, and (of course) other Americans, including a group from a city 25 miles from us - small world we live in! I am so glad I found your website (I am not computer-savvy) and we will recommend International Friends to all our friends and family. Thank you for adding immeasurably to our London vacation.
Ellen Palmer - 19th July 2010
The Tour was excellent!!! We had such a lovely time and everything was well planned! We never stayed too long and never too short at a destination. Just right. The Tour Guide was excellent!!! He was very motivated and made it very interesting!!! We absolutely loved the tour and will recommend it to people for sure!
Carina Pfaffenbichler - 10th July 2010
Every thing was EXCELLENT - I wish I would have known before of these possibilities. I'll recommend it to my colleagues here at the Swiss Embasssy. Thank you and Kind regards
Ruth Zumbuehl - 26th June 2010
I really enjoyed this tour. Andrew is a great Tour Guide- very knowledgeable and always willing to help you navigate your way, his patience was greatly appreciated. It was well planned with enough flexibility to make it feel like it was my own tour, I could experience Paris my way. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who had never experienced Paris before.
Neridah Morris - 11th June 2010
I have now returned to Houston after a great visit to London. I just wanted to thank you again for a pleasant, informative and really useful tour of "Ancient Britain" I appreciated the timely commentary from Tony. His comments were historically correct, witty and appropriate. I truly appreciate his concern and patience with me of a large frame and bum leg! Finally thank you for keeping safe my package I left behind. Your tour was much more than I expected and is a great bargain. I hope to see you once again when I return next year! From an outlook of comfort, pleasure, history and price, your tour rates as one of the best I have taken. With sincere thanks,
Kevin Curtis - 26th May 2010
Actually, I wouldn't normally be the type to sign up for a tour, and did in this case initially only because it would've been impossible for me to get to all of those places in one day on my own. As it turned out, I loved the tour, and would have no reservations recommending International Friends to anyone (even to friends who, like me, generally aren't into guided tours). The guys were awesome - thanks very much!
Melissa Blackie - 19th May 2010
The tour was excellent and what I liked about it most of all was the fact that the tour was conducted as a small group. I will definitely recommend International Friends to anyone who is interested in a tour of England, etc. Thanks for a great time!
Sakura Honda - 27th April 2010
My third with Int'l Friends was superb! A larger bus would not have made it through. Our guide Andrew was excellent -- as was Tony as always. The amount of history and information was almost overwhelming --but not -- it was perfect. The Cotswolds were completely enchanting -- and I will be going again next year. Most of the places that I will be returning to in 2011 have been chosen as a result of the tours. The wealth of info, the way it was presented, the good company is what I experienced on each Int'l Friends tour. Anita McMaster - 15th April 2010
Tony was fantastic. He was both knowledgeable and humorous. He made the trip very interesting, and made sure that everyone could get the pictures that they wanted. We would recommend your services to anyone. Thanks to all!
Michael G Griffith - 16th March 2010
Hello, I wanted to take a moment to say that the Harvest of History tour was wonderful. David was a delightful as well as very knowledgeable guide. The next time I'm in London, I will definitely try some of your other tours. I'm also recommending your company to my co-workers. Thank you for a wonderful experience. The tour was a great way to see some of the English countryside as well as learn about its history.
Karen Brunetto - 13th March 2010
Many thanks to Andrew and Richard for amazing tour in Wales Coast and Mountains on 12-13 December 2009. Everything was perfect!
Veronika and Tatiana from Russia - 14th December 2009
I am not a feedback type, but your tours deserve the effort from me. I took 2 tours with International friends: Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Avebury as well as the 2 day Oxford, Bath,Cottswold's and Stonehenge again. My tour guide was David and he was fabulous. It is clear that he has done a lot of reading on his own and was a wealth of intersting tidbits from historical to geological to meteorological. He was just wonderful. The small group and small buses made the tour a superior experience: no herding, no rushing and the ability to get into unique locations that the big buses cannot visit. Thank you so much. This was special.
Susan Sorger - December 2009
I am writing to thank you for the excellent tour that I took on 11th September with my client from Canada. We had a fantastic day, the size of the party meant that we didn’t feel ‘herded’ around, the coach was comfortable and the long journey from London seemed to whizz by as we received a constant flow of fascinating facts of our route even before we got to where the tour was taking us. Dave was a great cheerful and patient guide and a real mine of information! I will definitely use your services again.
Ava Regal - September 2009
My client Judith Klefman, who took her two granddaughters with her, thoroughly enjoyed her tour out to Glastonbury in June this year. She said the tour guide, Tony, was fabulous. He was passionate about the history and made the trip interesting every step of the way. She was also pleased with your tour company.
Just wanted you to know.
Pam Green, Portland Oregon - September 2009
My friend and I took the King Arthur’s Realm tour this past Friday (August 28, 2009). Since we decided to go to the UK a few months ago, I have been trying to find a tour that would give a tour that focused on King Arthur. I have been reading about the history and mythology of King Arthur for many years and could not see myself going to the UK without a taste of it.
I kept looking for tours that would take us and some were out of business, some only responded to e-mails about price but nothing else. Some never got back to me at all. I finally found International Friends.
We were not disappointed. Our guide Andrew was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. His knowledge of the area was very informative from myth vs. reality, history…even tidbits about how language came about. I have to say this tour was the favorite part of my trip to England. Even though there were only 4 people on the tour, I appreciate you not cancelling it. It was the chance of a lifetime for me and I really treasure the experience.
The bus driver, Anthony, was also very friendly and nice and I liked hearing his stories about the area as well.
I have also contacted Trip Advisor to request that I write a review on this tour and company, so that others who are looking for this kind of experience won’t find themselves in the same boat I was a few months ago and wondering if they’d be able to find a good King Arthur Tour.

Just wanted to write to say what a delightful day I spent on 12 August touring Stonehenge, etc. with super-guide David. He's most knowledgeable, personable, and great fun and is an absolute storehouse of fascinating information. Definitely one of the highlights of my vacation!

Hi! Just wanted to let you know how much my friends and I enjoyed being on the coach tour to Paris this past weekend. Our driver was excellent and our tour guide beyond excellent. Andrew's knowledge of the history of Paris and France was amazing. His enjoyment of history and appreciation of its physical manifestations were quite obvious. Don't know how much you pay him, but it isn't enough. My friends and I are Americans who are living in London for various lengths of time and are interested in taking more of your tours. Is there any way to know what other tours Andrew does and when, since I think we would prefer to be in his groups? Please..........

A belated note to thank the International Friends for the most excellent service provided to Commissionaires Canada during our visit to the London in June. Please convey my thanks to Jimmy whose assistance and thoroughness contributed to the success of our visit.
Our thanks also to Trevor and Andrew. The tour of London guided by Andrew was first-rate. Trevor was most helpful and even gave us a pre-tour on our drive in from the airport.
I will have no hesitation in recommending International Friends to persons and organizations visiting London.
Best regards and again, thanks to all.

We wanted to let you know what an outstanding experience we had. This was our first trip to London and we typically avoid tour groups. We heard about your small tour groups through Rick Steve's London guide. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Not only were the sights amazing, but David was an incredible guide! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He did a fabulous job and we would recommend the trip to everyone! We will also notify Rick Steve's what a great experience it was and to keep your tours listed in his future books!

Just to let you know that I have had 2 of the ladies from Chile come into the office today to say how fantastic their trip to Paris was the past weekend. They said they really loved Yan (guide), had a great time visiting the sights in Paris, and thought the hotel and itinerary were both great! Two very happy customers!!

We are a Canadian couple who took the International Friends' Ancient Britain tour on April 16, 2008 to Salisbury, Stonehenge and Avebury. Our guide's name was Andrew and our driver's name was Paul.
We have travelled extensively throughout North America in the past 20 years. We have been on many tours in many cities. We can certainly attest to the fact that being a tour guide is not an easy task but have unfortunately been consistently disappointed by the quality of tours we have received in the past. This April, we took our first package tour to Europe and had an opportunity to experience yet more sightseeing tours, including the one mentioned above.
We are writing to thank Andrew and Paul, as well as International Friends for a wonderful tour! Our guide was truly the most informative tour guide we have ever had in the course of more than 20 years of travelling, including the balance of our travel this spring.
Andrew's overview of the history of the settlement of Britain was totally relevant to the sites we saw on our tour. It was concise, interesting and never confusing. The information on, and the plausible theories related to, the sites we saw were discussed in an objective fashion but it was obvious that he was passionate about the subject matter he was talking about.
It took some research to find this tour on the internet and we are so pleased that we did. It fulfills a niche for people who want to experience a sightseeing tour but in a more thoughtful and informative way. We have been home now for only a day and have already mentioned to many of our friends and acquaintances that this tour was one of the highlights of the trip and will recommend and refer them to your organization. We can not wait to return to England and take another tour with your company.
We wish your firm continued success. Our thanks again for a thoroughly enjoyable day, John Jaworski and Nancy Miles - April 2008
Despite the rainy weather, we had a great day. David was an excellent driver and guide and Debbie (the walking guide in Oxford) was full of wonderful information and tremendous enthusiasm. Frankly, except for the weather, the day couldn’t have been better. Thanks for arranging the trip for us and please pass along our thanks and regards to David and Debbie. Best Regards, David & Mika Filkins, USA - Special visit to Filkins (Oxfordshire), Oxford, the Cotswolds and Stratford upon-Avon (private charter, geniology tour), 28 March 2008
What a wonderful company you have. Both Andrew and Paul were great. I hope to visit next year and take a tour or two. I have recommended your company with both a travel agent here in the USA and also a friend in London. Kay Hall, USA, Stonehenge & Salisbury, 26 March 2008
I wish to express my appreciation for such a well organised tour and in particularly a very big thank you to both Tom the guide and Fred the bus driver. Both were extremely enthusiastic and rather humurous to say the least. The many laughs had were what really made the trip worthwhile. I wish your team all the very best and thanks again for a great holiday. Dinah & MJ, Edinburgh, Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands, 21 March 2008
Thanks again for the Edinburgh Easter weekend, it was AMAZING! My only problem is that I miss it so much now. It was beautiful and I had so much fun! Thanks for all your help and patience. And a HUGE thanx for Fred, he was hilarious, added more colour to the trip. I am sure you guys will see me again soon...;), Eva, Edinburgh, Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands, 21 March 2008
Thank you very much for a wonderful tour. Paul, Mike and Martin were all very helpful. Mike was truly entertaining and informative. Everything went extremely smoothly, which made for a relaxing and pleasurable weekend- Krista Warnica, Ottawa, Canada - Cotswolds, Bath and Stonehenge, 26 January 2008
Wonderful tour! One of the best we've ever been in Europe. The tour guides were fantastic as well; they knew a great deal about the culture and history, good sense of humor too. The tour was worth every single pence. We would come back again and definitely recommend International Friends to our friends, Else, Pulce, Sonia, Mariedeth and Fernadano dela Cruz, from the Philippines - Cotswolds, Bath and Stonehenge- 26 January 2008
The trip was very informative and entertaining. We went to so many beautiful places, which I've never thought that we could do it in three days. Thanks Andrew and Chris (the driver) for making such a wonderful and memorable trip while I am in London. Susanna Wong (Toronto,Canada), Cologne and Rhineland 25 January 2008
This trip was really more than I expected. The driver is so nice, the city guide's dress was typically as a Scottish guy.The hotel was very well located and everything was perfect. I hope to see everybody again. Thanks, Aline Lazzarotto, from Brazil - Edinburgh and The Scottish Highlands, 18 January 2008
I had simply an amazing time. Thank you Martin and Paul for providing us with such an enjoyable trip. I haven't had such a relaxing yet fun-filled trip like this for a long time. I will definitely recommend the trip to my friends. Thanks again for a great weekend - sorry about the hand writing - my hands are freezing :) - 24 November 2007
