Your private Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor day trip begins with collection from your London or Heathrow address. We can collect from your hotel lobby, air bnb, airport arrival terminal, train station, guest house or private address.
The first stop on your private day trip from London is mysterious Stonehenge, arriving just as the prehistoric site opens, before the crowds arrive. Admire its powerful presence, then take some time to experience the visitor centre where you will learn of the building methods and possible purpose of the monument before continuing on to the historic city of Bath.
In Bath, there will be time to visit the hot springs and the remains of the 2,000 year old baths, see the Roman Temple and walk along the original Roman pavement before stopping to enjoy lunch in one of the citys elegant tea rooms. Explore the 18th Century crescents and squares of the Georgian city, built 250 years ago, when Bath became the social centre for high society with dancing, bathing and all manner of relaxation.
The final stop on your day trip from London is Windsor, complete with the oldest and largest continuously occupied castle in the world, and favourite home of our present Queen. Here, there will be some time to visit Windsor Castle, including the state apartments, Grand Reception Room and the Royal Chapel of St George, the final resting place of many of our Kings and Queens. Alternatively, those who do not wish to enter the castle can spend some time exploring Windsor, along the narrow cobbled streets and riverside parks of this pleasant and attractive town.
Please be aware that in the winter months (November through February) Windsor Castle closes earlier. In this period we recommend the above itinerary in reverse.
We have three services, tailored to cater to a range of budgets.
An experienced driver who is familiar with our touring routes, but does not guide. Should you book this service, you will visit Stonehenge, Bath & Windsor independently. Audio guides are available at Stonehenge, the Roman Baths & Windsor, subject to availability.
An experienced driver who can guide from the vehicle. Please note guiding is not permitted inside Windsor Castle, but audio guides are available on site, subject to availability.
Driver with guide
Our most popular option. An experienced driver and a separate professional guide who can guide from the vehicle and lead walking tours in destination. Please note guiding is not permitted inside Windsor Castle, but audio guides are available on site, subject to availability.
Please bear in mind that when booking this service, you will need to allow a seat for the guide. For example, booking this service for 8-16 people will allow seats for a party of 15 passengers plus the guide.
The services above do not include entries or meals, but we are of course very happy to help with this - should you wish to include entry tickets or meal bookings please see our FAQs tab.
Important note - For 2020/2021 Windsor Castle is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and it can also be subject to last minute closures. If you intend on visiting the Castle we strongly recommend you book in advance to guarantee entry. Please be sure to check the Windsor Castle website - click here.
