This is a private shore excursion for Miss R Bromage's cruise group travelling on the 23rd May 2020. If you are not part of Miss Bromage's group, and this link has not been shared with you, please do not attempt to book.
This full day private cruise transfer will take you on a journey past two world class attractions, Stonehenge and Windsor.
Our first stop on this magnificent tour is Stonehenge. We will spend around 2 hours at Stonehenge, and entry is included. You can visit this world famous monument from 4-5,000 years ago and still have enough time for the gift shop and a coffee. The expert guide assigned to you will explain the many theories surrounding Stonehenge as you enter the new visitor centre and neolithic village, before some time to explore independently (with the help of an audio guide!)
We'll leave Stonehenge arround lunchtime, and arrive in Windsor around 90 minutes later, where over 900 years of royal history are waiting for you at Windsor Castle, perched high above the River Thames. Windsor Castle has been home to British Monarchs for over 1,000 years, and is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II, with the Castle remaining a working royal residence to this day. See the splendour of St. George’s chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. Windsor itself is a pretty town full of traditional shops and historic pubs.
The guide will not enter Windsor Castle with you - you will receive a personal audio guide on admission so you can take the day at your own pace. Entry is included in the price of this transfer, so we'll avoid the long walk up queues.
Entry is included in the price of this transfer, but if you don't want to visit the castle there is much else to do in Windsor and Eton. The guide will be available to assist you in having a very enjoyable few hours.
The tour will conclude around 4pm, and drop off at Heathrow around 5pm, in time for your return flight.
