We then enter the house he was born in, before we have some free time to explore.
Our day continues with off the beaten track exploring, seeing plenty of meandering streams and sleepy villages on our tour of the Cotswolds. We’ll visit idyllic Burford, charming Bourton on the Water, sleepy Taynton and the picturesque twins Great and Little Rissington. We will make a lunch stop in the delightful town of Stow-on-the-Wold, which boasts some fine historic pubs and traditional tea rooms.
Ending the day in Oxford, we will take an informative and in-depth walking tour of the University colleges & town. Learn of famous writers, artists, inventors and statesmen that studied here. We’ll discover ancient college buildings, and visit to the University's oldest classroom, the beautiful and historic 15th century Divinity School. After your walking tour and free time to explore, our small group day trip ends and we journey back to London.

What time does the transfer depart?
All transfers have an 8.00 meeting time, for an 8.30 departure.
What happens if my ship is late?

Will you wait for me if I am late in disembarking?
If your cruise ship docks on schedule and disembarkation begins as normal, we cannot be held responsible, in the unlikely event you are unable to disembark in time to meet your transfer. This is a shared transfer and we cannot delay departure from the port for customers who are late in disembarking. It is your responsibility to check the departure time for your transfer, and ensure you are at the meeting point at the appropriate time.
How much luggage can I bring?

Should you wish to bring any mobility aids (wheelchairs or walkers) you MUST contact us in advance to let us know. We will require full dimensions and weight. Upon arrival your guide will offer a walking tour to the Cathedral. This is a short walk of approximately 10 – 15 minutes and is on flat ground. You will then have the option of entering the Cathedral or walking further into the town.
Stonehenge
The main visitor areas are all on flat ground and are well pathed. A shuttle bus service will take you from the visitor centre directly up to the Stones.
Windsor
There is a walk of approximately 15 minutes from the coach park up to Windsor Castle. Parts of this walk are uphill and may not be suitable for passengers with mobility issues.
I would like to join this tour but you do not service the ship I am travelling on. What can I do?
Our transfers from the port are available to passengers on other ships not listed, when dates and arrival times coincide with the ships we do service. You will need to make your own way to the ship we are servicing on that date. Please note on your booking the ship you are arriving on, and we can then advise which ship you will need to make your way to. You will need to take a taxi from your ship to our meeting point which should take no longer than 10 minutes. There will be taxis waiting outside of your cruise ship however to avoid queuing we recommend pre booking a taxi in advance. Our office will be happy to provide the details of a local supplier. The average fare will be £6-7.
Should we tip our driver or guide?
Tips are entirely at the customer’s discretion and in no way expected. Should you feel inclined to tip, your driver or guide would be grateful, but you should not feel obliged. A 10% tip is considered customary in the UK.
