Warner Bros. Studio Tour
Our small group day trip from London begins with the short journey to the very studio used to create the Harry Potter films. We can see the actual sets and props and tour the huge buildings used to bring the boy wizard to the big screen. Enter Hogwarts Great Hall and walk past the wooden tables down to the sorting hat. Sit in the Weasley's flying car and peer into Hagrid's hut. Stroll along the spectacular Diagon Alley and visit the Gryffindor Common Room. Out in the backlot you can see the Dursley house in Privet Drive and Harry's parents house at Godric's Hollow and then marvel at the Knight bus! Visit Hogsmeade station and climb aboard the Hogwarts Express. Learn about prosthetics and model making and film yourself riding a broomstick. Take a journey through the Forbidden Forest if you dare!
A recent addition to the Warner Bros Studio Tour for fans of Harry Potter is the Gringotts Wizarding Bank! The biggest expansion to the Warner Bros Studio Tour to date, the exhibit is lined by marble pillars, sparkling chandeliers, and props and costumes belonging to the Goblin bankers, like Bogrod and Griphook. Discover the vault of Bellatrix Lestrange, in the vault you’ll see the Sword of Gryffindor, piles of golden Galleons, silver Sickles, bronze Knuts and Helga Hufflepuff’s cup. You’ll also have the chance for a unique photo opportunity, surrounded by heaps of treasure, but be warned, the dragon is approaching!
Early afternoon we make our way to Oxford, to visit the historic town and its famous University founded in 1167. Its connections to the world of literature are wide and varied. Alice in Wonderland, The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia to name but three. Authors, poets, actors, inventors and statesmen have called Oxford their home. We take an eye opening historic walking tour of Oxford's ivy clad colleges and beautiful university buildings followed by some free time. We recommend wearing sensible footwear for the guided walking tour due to uneven walking surfaces in Oxford in order to prevent slips, trips and falls.
After your visit to Oxford, our Harry Potter day trip ends and coach will return to London.
Please note that The Divinity School may close on short notice, in these circumstances, we will include a visit to an alternative college if available.
Please ensure you arrive at your allocated departure point at least 10 minutes before your departure time.
Outside Gloucester Road Tube station, meet at the station exit opposite Burger King. (MAP)
On some occasions, to accommodate changed entry times with the Warner Bros Studio Tour, we reserve the right to amend this itinerary and run it in reverse; Oxford first then the Studio Tour in the afternoon.
All timings are approximate and assuming normal traffic conditions. Due to the changeable nature of road conditions, we cannot guarantee a precise time when you will get back to London.
On the return to London the drop off route will be the same as the pick up location at Gloucester Road Tube station.

Yes! The meeting point is directly outside Gloucester Road Tube station, and very easy access for taxis. We recommend you arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time. Your International Friends day trip has been carefully planned to ensure maximum enjoyment, which sadly means we cannot delay our departure times to wait for latecomers. If you miss the departure for your tour, you are welcome to join the tour at the first scheduled stop. Any expenses incurred in doing so will be at your own expense. Refunds cannot be issued for passengers who miss their tours departure through their own late arrival.

Depending on the number of people travelling on a particular day we use executive minivans or coaches. On arrival at the pick up location the guide/driver will announce themselves, will be holding a sign reading “International Friends” and will be aware of your names ready to welcome you on board.

Can I make my own way to or from the Studio Tour or stay longer?
Yes and yes. If you just wish to use the entry ticket you must inform our office in advance and we will confirm with you what time you need to meet our guide at the Studio Tour. Please do not attempt to enter the Studio Tour independently as the Warner Bros staff will not be able to admit you without our group ticket.
