Stratford upon Avon Day Trip
Stratford upon Avon: famous throughout the world as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, it is also where he returned to live his final years in semi-tranquility. Your guide will tell you of all the history of this beautiful market town with the special emphasis on the Shakespeare connection, combined with many other interesting facts along the way. On your guided tour you will pass many historic places linked with Shakespeare, including Holy Trinity Church, his final resting place.

After the walking tour you will have free time to have lunch in one of Stratford upon Avon's many famous pubs, restaurants and cafes, spend time in Bancroft Gardens by the River Avon, visit the Farmer's Market or take a closer look at one or two of the other Shakespearian properties Stratford has to offer (entrance not included) before we head back to London.
