- This free service is for incoming students of Goldsmiths, University of London only.
- You will travel from London Heathrow airport directly to Goldsmiths, University of London on a coach with other students from the University. The coaches will not stop at any other destination.
- Coaches will depart from London Heathrow airport every 90-120 minutes from mid-morning until 8pm on Friday 20 September 2019 only. The journey time is approximately two hours, depending on traffic conditions.
- Goldsmiths' staff and Student Ambassadors will be at the meeting point in the arrival area of Terminal 3, which is after you have cleared immigration and collected your luggage.
- We will monitor all arrival details so don't worry if your flight is delayed.
- On arrival at Goldsmiths, University of London, staff will be available to assist you with planning your onward journey. Transport will be provided from the University to halls of residence.
- In the booking form you MUST provide details of your halls of residence. This will assist planning on the day.
- If you require to travel to a destination other than Goldsmiths, University of London Halls of residence you will need to arrange this yourself. You are welcome to travel on the coach to the university.

1. How will I find you when I arrive at London Heathrow airport?
We will have a dedicated meeting point in the arrivals area of Heathrow Terminal 3 - you need to meet us there after you have cleared passport and immigration control and collected your luggage.
Staff and Student Ambassadors from Goldsmiths will be at the meeting point and will be dressed in bright coloured Goldsmiths t-shirts.
If you arrive at any other terminal in the airport you should use the free Heathrow transit service and make your way to the meeting point in Terminal 3. We are unable to meet you in any other terminal of the airport.
2. What documentation will I require at the airport?
Everyone arriving into the UK is subject to UK Border Force (immigration service) checks. Your passport or identity card and visa status will be checked at the airport before you are granted entry to the country.
You must have your confirmation of study letter from Goldsmiths, University of London as this will be checked by the Border Force.
3. What happens if my flight is delayed departing or there is a delay during the flight?
Our staff will monitor flight arrival times so will know if your flight has been delayed. If you miss your flight or it is significantly delayed before departure, please get in touch using the emergency number provided on your e-ticket.
The shared transfer service is for a particular date and time, and we may need to make other plans for your transfer if your delay means you will arrive outside of this day and time. The last coach will leave the airport at 8pm, this service is only available for students who have flights scheduled to land by 7:15pm. London Heathrow is a very busy airport and it may take up to two hours from the time your plane lands until you are cleared to enter the UK. Please do not worry if you are delayed during this process. As long as your flight has landed by 7:15pm our staff will wait for you.
4. How will we contact you on the day?
This FAQ will be updated nearer to the travel date with a contact number that will be available to call from 9am to 5pm (UK time) on Friday 20 September for any urgent queries. If you are arriving out of coach pick-up hours and wish to talk to someone, you can contact Goldsmiths Campus Support Officers who are available from 6pm to 6am (UK time) on 020 7919 7284. Please ensure you have a copy of these numbers when you travel to the UK.
4. What happens after I meet the Goldsmith staff at the airport? How long will my journey take from Heathrow to Goldsmiths, University of London?
After you've met the Goldsmiths team at Heathrow Terminal 3 you will be advised when the next coach will be departing. Typically this will happen every 90-120 minutes. You will be accompanied on to the coach until you reach the University. Your journey from the airport to the university may take up to two hours, depending on traffic conditions.
5. What days are transfers offered?

6. My flight does not land at Heathrow, what should I do?
